Its 88-key Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard recreates the feel of an acoustic piano with a naturally heavier touch in the lower register and a lighter response in the upper keys. Three pedals, including half-damper support, provide expressive control, while Damper Resonance enhances realism by recreating the sympathetic resonance produced when the sustain pedal is pressed.
The YDP-105 includes 10 carefully selected instrument voices, including grand piano, electric piano, organ, strings, and vibraphone, along with 10 built-in piano songs for practice and enjoyment. USB to Host connectivity supports Yamaha's Smart Pianist app, allowing intuitive control of voices, score viewing, and Piano Room settings from a compatible iOS or Android device (connection cable sold separately).
