Its compact split-level layout features 12 trigger pads and 1,277 drum, percussion, and effects sounds derived from Yamaha's acclaimed MOTIF and DTXTREME III sound technology. The DTX-MULTI 12 also supports loading WAV and AIFF samples from USB memory, giving players additional sound possibilities. Up to four voices can be assigned to each pad, while Stack and Alternate modes provide flexible performance options. USB and MIDI connectivity, onboard sequencing, and bundled Cubase AI software make it equally capable for live performance and music production.
