The Yamaha DFP9500CL is the left-foot version of the DFP9500C double bass drum pedal. Its double chain drive can be converted to a strap-drive configuration using the included woven nylon belt. Independent beater angle, footboard angle, and spring tension adjustments allow the pedal to be configured to individual playing preferences. Stabilizer bars cast below the rocker shafts help eliminate flex, keep the bearings aligned, and provide a smooth feel. Tear drop shaped beater hubs securely hold the two-sided beaters, while the side-adjustable hoop clamp accommodates different bass drum hoop thicknesses. A hard sided soft case is included to keep the pedals, beaters, and universal joints together during transport.
