The Gretsch G9202 Honey Dipper Special Round-Neck Resonator Guitar is a limited-release model that builds on the popular G9201 Honey Dipper, now enhanced with aged white fingerboard binding, a screened headstock graphic, and a weathered Bell Bronze finish for a distinctive vintage look. Crafted with a bell brass metal body, it features the hand-spun Gretsch Ampli-Sonic aluminum biscuit cone, made in Eastern Europe from nearly 99% pure aluminum, which delivers outstanding projection, sustain, and tonal quality. A hard maple biscuit bridge with ebony and maple saddle, mahogany neck with a medium “V” profile, and bound padauk fingerboard with a 25" scale length ensure smooth playability, complemented by a bone nut and aged pearloid headcap for added detail. Precision tuning is provided by Grover Sta-Tite tuners, completing an instrument that combines swampy resonator tone, durable brass construction, and unique appointments for players seeking both performance and style.
