SCALE LENGTH AND NECK PROFILE: The Fender Player II Mustang Bass has a 30" scale length that produces a warmer and thumpier tone. The "C"-shaped maple neck offers a comfortable curve that helps in precision while playing.

PICKUP CONFIGURATION: One P Bass split single-coil middle pickup, One J Bass single-coil bridge pickup offer a versatile range of tones, combining the deep, punchy sound of a Precision Bass with the clear and articulate sound of a Jazz Bass.

FINGERBOARD CONSTRUCTION: Features a 9.5"-radius Pau Ferro fingerboard for a comfortable playing experience and a bright tone along with 19 medium jumbo frets.

Master volume and tone controls, along with a conventional three-way pickup switch get you to all available sounds. Not only is the 30" scale more comfortable for smaller hands, it reduces string tension, creating a looser playing feel that lends itself to nimble playing styles while adding a fat, "blooming" quality to the lower notes and sweetening the higher notes. This product comes in 3-Color Sunburst with Maple Fingerboard and an Alder body.
