The Most Beautiful guitar I've Ever Played! And Sounds Really Good!
This is an amazing guitar to see in real life. I have over 20 guitars, and I always keep a couple of them out on stands, so they're handy to play, and because they make the family room look cool. This is the one that is always out. The other one changes constantly, but this one is so beautiful, I get comments on it every time someone comes to the house. But it isn't just pretty. It is a very well made and good sounding guitar. I have the acoustic-electric version. Does it sound as good as my solid topped Yamahas? No. But it blows away the laminate fenders and epiphones you see for sale in bundles everywhere. Oscar Schmidt makes well-built guitars, and I have a few of them. It came with a NuBone nut and saddle, and D'addario phosphor bronze strings, has heavy duty gold tuners that stay in tune for days, and the acoustic-electric version has a built-in tuner and EQ. The action was set low, with no fret buzz anywhere. And Oscar Schmidt gives you a lifetime warranty, which I can tell you first-hand, they honor. I had a 12 string that the bridge lifted on, they sent me a label to ship it back, and sent a replacement, all at zero cost to me.
