Nice little uke
It arrived very quickly and in perfect condition and the shipping was free! It was purchased as a starter uke for my 12 year old daughter who has recently taken an interest in learning a musical instrument. I got a bundled package which included the uke, a gig bag, tuner, polishing cloth and an instructional DVD. Straight out of the box it sounded pretty terrible but a lot of that was the stock nylon strings. I was prepared for that though, thanks to other reviews I'd read on the internet and ordered a set of Aquila Nylgut strings with the uke. Thanks to videos on YouTube, it was fairly easy to learn how to change the strings. With the new strings it has a beautiful sound, nice and bright. I am very happy with the ukulele and feel like I got a good deal. As far as the rest of the bundle? The gig back is super basic and just one step up from the really crappy one that Makala includes with the ukulele. I wasn't impressed with it all. The instructional DVD is pretty basic and not much help if you want to actually learn how to play. The polishing cloth is a polishing cloth, not much I can say about that. I do, however, really like the ENO ET-33 tuner that came in the bundle. It's very easy to use and perfect for a beginner. All said, I feel like I got a decent deal on the bundle if only for the ukulele, tuner and polishing cloth.
