This dark wood Bongo set is ideal for the beginning musician! Bongos are two small drums made of wood, metal, or composite materials, attached by a thick piece of wood. The Bongo drums (both of different sizes) produce high-pitched sounds, and should be held between the knees. They are traditionally played by striking the drumheads with the fingers. Bongos can be found in various music styles including Cuban and Middle Eastern.
This Bongos have a height of 16 inches. The larger Bongo has a 8 1/4" diameter, and the smaller Bongo has a 7" diameter. Each Bongo features 4 tunable heads, and the set includes a tuning key.
