      Well-built Guitar!

Posted by Tom Joad on 18th Jan 2017

It's a shame the pics they have of this guitar are so small. Because it is an amazing looking guitar, with abalone inlay, and a spalted maple top that looks totally unique on every one. I keep mine on display in the family room, usually with my Yamaha FG-730s. I got chrome tuners on mine, but that is just personal taste. Everyone who visits always asks about it, because they've never seen anything like it, then I play some for them on it, and they ask if it cost a fortune. They are amazed when I tell them that it cost under $200. I have a large guitar collection, and this is the only laminate topped acoustic I've bought in decades. I'll be the first to admit that it doesn't sound as good as my solid sitka spruce topped guitars, but it comes close, which is more than I can say for most laminates. At it's price, you aren't going to find another new guitar that sounds, or looks, better than this.

Great guitar to play around with

Posted by Jose Rios Nebro on 8th Dec 2015

This is a great guitar, nice sound, it is my first acoustic, I am more familiar with the classical and flamenco type of guitar and at first the sound was way too bright for me, but it was remedied by changing the strings to silk wound steel. The guitar is well made, I was impressed for the money. Good finish and great look.

The case that came with it could have more padding inside, but for the price is ok. The strap should have come set for a one button setup as the guitar has, you will need to get something to strap it to the neck of the guitar as there is no button there. I had to adjust the action a bit, not a lot, but it is very easy to do with the included key.

All in all this is a great guitar for the money.
