Great for the price
I love this little guy....I know it's basically "pressed" wood BUT the walnut DOES sound better than many of the others I'v e tried AND the Kala seems to be more "user friendly" than some of the others..It has a truly sweet high pitched Soprano sound that I will enjoy for many years and will accomapny both my Oscar Schmidt OU5 and definitely my home made Bonanaza for many years...I am only a novice BUT I know as a 54 yr old Texan, what I like, and I like this awesome uke...It's NOT made in the USA. Thanx for reading, I love my ukes (esp my Bonanza (soon)) and God bless you always !!!!! Ohhhhhh, and thank you Austin Bazaar for always taking care of me no matter the situation.....I'm born and raised Austinite but damn if that town didn't go straight to Hades in the past 5 -10 years......Love y'all too !!!!!

Best Christmas Present Ever!
I purchased this ukulele as a last minute Christmas gift for my 17 year old daughter. First, the on-line customer service representative was awesome. He was very helpful in selecting the right instrument that fit within my budget, it[ukulele] arrived on time and in immaculate condition. I still can't get over how beautiful the wood striation is in this ukulele. My daughter plays it almost daily and it is the perfect size instrument to take to college.
