ATH-M50X Pros and Cons

Pros

• Versatile; suitable for professionals and casual listeners alike
• Cool design; available in different colors and comes with changeable cable types for both mobile and studio situations (short, long, and coiled) 
• Balanced frequency range; listen to and produce music on a whooole different level
• Price; Reasonable. In our humble opinion, these blow most headphones under $200 out of the water.

Cons

• If you're looking for true noise-cancelling headphones, the ATH-M50x headphones may not cut it. You'll definitely be able to hear all the nuances of your audio, but consider these more as "noise-muffling headphones"
• Somewhat bulky - though they can be folded and stored to make them more compact
• No integrated volume remote control. You'll have to adjust audio levels on your computer or device
• We've read some reviews that say these are a bit heavy on the bass. No complaints here though!
