Korg metronomes have much to offer, and the MA-30 is no exception. In addition to listening to the internal speaker or private earphone, the LCD display offers visual timing cues with a familiar pendulum-style display. The tempo can be set manually from the panel, or simply by tapping a button. There are thirteen pattern variations; including duplets, triplets and quadruplets. Triplets and quadruplets may be monitored with or without the repetitive inner beats. The MA-30 also doubleS as a tuning aid, producing a full octave of reference pitches through the internal speaker. Batteries provide nearly 250 hours of use.
